I don't believe that people "become" artists - we are we born into this world as creators. Some of us are simply privileged to have the opportunity of expressing this creative force in ways that are both deeply enjoyable and meaningful to us, and appreciated by others as profound or beautiful.

For many years, I channeled my creativity into a legal career and entrepreneurship. And even though I will always enjoy the intricate art of contract drafting and bringing ideas to life in the realm of business, the infinite inner worlds that exist within my soul also demand expression.

Worlds that, I realized, also exist within others who find these expressions familiar, beautiful, and reminiscent of forgotten memories we so often glimpse in pieces of art that speak to our souls.

In addition to connecting with others through depicting fragments of our collective dreams, my work also serves as a private, silent rebellion against a world that too often prizes illusory productivity and the aimless accumulation of material wealth over the soul’s expression and expansion; a society that values the shallow symbols of status over the transformative power inner exploration.

In defiance of these broken norms, I step away from practical life and business pursuits, and simply create - in affirmation that expressions of inner truth, beauty and journeys into the infinite realms within us hold as much value as any other material pursuit.
